Happy Wednesday, my friends. There was an old bumper sticker that read, “If you can read this, thank a teacher.”
We have so much to think our teachers for and yet our society doesn’t always reward them the way it should. I know a lot of teachers and former teachers. Most love the teaching part, but it’s easy to get caught up in the politics and the discipline issues and forget what inspired you to teach.
This affirmation, listened to regularly, inspires you to release the amazing teaching within you and find the joy and the passion that once lit the teaching fire within you.
First-person- I am a great teacher. Today the teacher I always knew I could be shows up in my classroom.
Second-person: You are a great teacher. Today the teacher you always knew you could be shows up in your classroom.
If you’re not a teacher, share this one with your favorite teachers.
Wherever you are on your journey today, remember you are awesome!
