I make my world. My world is what I make of it and I choose to make it a prosperous place to be!
Today Ray discusses how nature demonstrates that we live in an abundant world and an abundant universe. He takes on those who peddle lack and limits.
The word prosperity embodies the concepts of success, flourishing, and having abundance. A mantra is a word that is repeated numerous times as a point of focus. The repetition helps to establish the feelings associated with the word in your subconscious. During this 10-minute recording, the word prosperity is repeated about 100 times. You can listen consciously or have it playing unconsciously in the background while you’re doing other work. After repeated plays, the word prosperity will be embedded in your subconscious.
The affirmation I am prosperous, I am prosperous, I am prosperous and more so every day is repeated six times during the recording. Use this recording to attract and manifest prosperity and abundance into your consciousness.

Today’s affirmation is:
“My thoughts, my words, my actions really do create my world. That is why I think great thoughts, I say great words, and I take great actions.” (click the affirmation to hear the mp3 version)
Today a brief article from the Fitbrains blog about positive thinking. Dr. Paul Nussbaum talks about positive thinking and references two interesting lines of research – one on HIV and meditation and the other the military studying telepathy.
“This year I am absolutely committed to being the person I came here to be!”
Coining a new word or phrase is always an enjoyable mental exercise. I once coined the term hydrothermal-ambient-lucidity. It describes the clear, warm water environment gently stroked by sunlight that you discover when you open your eyes under water in a warm tropical setting.
While meditating, I kept experiencing these visions of being under water in such an environment. I was immersed in unnamable shades of blue, that warm bath water feeling, and the muffled sounds of submergence.
Well, the term never caught on (you can Google it and see), but I can still feel the sensations and see the images that inspired the term 15 years later.
A few months ago I blogged about another new term I created. I’m hoping this one will really catch on.
This word speaks to the positive direction I am moving in my life and would like to see the world move. The word is posidigm (positive + paradigm).
I searched for the term on all the major search engines and could not find a reference to it, so I just claimed it.
Dictionary.com provides the following definitions – among others – for these two words:
Positive – “emphasizing what is laudable, hopeful, or to the good; constructive: a positive attitude toward the future; positive things to say about a painting.
Paradigm – “a set of assumptions, concepts, values, and practices that constitutes a way of viewing reality for the community that shares them, especially in an intellectual discipline.”
So, a posidigm can be defined as:
“emphasizing a hopeful, good, or constructive set of assumptions, concepts, values, and practices that constitute your way of looking at reality.
Our planet and our species face real challenges in the coming decades and centuries. We have to face our challenges honestly, see through the chicanery of the fear peddlers, and build a new posidigm.
This posidigm must admit its own blindspots and not see the world through unrealistically rose-colored glasses. Its power will come from this honesty and its more positive view of our future and potential as individuals and as a species.
As you might have gathered from this blog, I am a big believer in postive thinking. I know that if tomorrow six billion people on this planet demanded peace, justice, or freedom we would have it.
I’ve had a number of well-meaning and intelligent people tell me these things are not possible in this world. My response is always the same. “They are not possible as long as that is our attitude.”
Work hard this week (and it is hard work) to stay positive about your path and about the world. Slowly but surely we can undo what is happening and bring this world to a better place.
This week when someone asks you how you are or what you are doing, tell them you are busy buidling a new posidigm. Brick by brick, thought by thought, action by action, it is coming into view.
Be free! Be inspired! Follow your bliss!

As Christmas passes, our focus begins to move towards the new year. 2008 holds potential for anything at this point. There is not yet one fingerprint on its possibility.
Today’s affirmation is:
“Who I am is not for sale at any price! I am brilliant and beautiful and a best friend to everyone who knows me. I am peaceful and happy and more successful than ever before. I am relaxed and confident and trading in my old fears on new hopes.
2008 is going to be a wonderful year for me; a year of breakthrough, options, and opportunities for new paths to follow. I am excited and ready for the challenges and the triumphs that lie ahead.
No, my self-worth, my happiness, my freedom, my unbounded optimism about what is ahead is not for sale at any price!”
As another journey around our home star begins in the next few days, begin visualizing 2008 as your big year.
Read this affirmation to yourself a few times today. Begin envisioning the new year as you’d like to see it right now. As the door of 2007 begins to swing shut, the window that is 2008 is opening.
Every possibility, every option, every hope, dream, and goal are back on the table.
Be peaceful Be prosperous

Today’s affirmation is:
“It is not the mountain I conquer, but myself. I am reaching for the top of the mountain and my day in the sun is here.”
There is a famous quote variously attributed to several people that says, “Whether or not you believe you can do a thing, you’re right.” In the Book of Matthew, Jesus audaciously states, “Had you the faith of a mustard seed, you could command a mountain to be moved from here to there and it would be so.”
Both statements clearly to remind us that we have within us an astonishging capacity to do what would ordinarily be considered miraculous. In both instances, the fuel for the miracles is our belief.
I have often pondered this statement of Jesus and thought, “Ok, I believe it. I command the mountain to move.” Immediately, even before I can get the words out, “common sense” enters my mind and says, “This is nonsense. The world does not work that way.” Doubt has entered the picture. That’s why Jesus started his statement with, “Had you the faith…”
In Buddhism, doubt is one of the “five hindrances” to wisdom and considered the most difficult to overcome. We live in a society that teaches us that doubt and mistrust are prerequisites for our own self-protection. I wonder if the doubt spread by this world view is hindering us, individually and collectively, as we pursue our goals.
Although easier said than done, if we could suspend our disbelief just long enough to allow a firm belief in ourselves and our potential to take root and flourish; we could begin bringing the miraculous into our lives.
Maybe we start with things smaller than mountains like succeeding in our career, or strengthening our friendships and relationships, or simply achieving peace of mind. Then perhaps we can tackle the mountain. But then as Edmund Hilary stated, “It is not the mountain we conquer, but ourselves.”
Everyone have a great Thursday. Find a situation today to suspend your disbelief long enough to allow your miracle.
Be peaceful Be prosperous
