Millions of people around the world have the dream of owning their own business and, perhaps even more importantly, controlling their own time.
The trade-off we started making 150 years ago – trading our farms and small businesses for the security of a corporate job – has had mixed results. It created 100 years of the most robust middle class in human history. However, many have come to see the corporate world as too confining, controlling, and thankless.
