It’s a nice thought and a worthy aspiration to be filled with light and love 365/24/7. In realty, unless you have attained a high state of enlightenment, you slip and fall. You release negative vibrations out into the world. It’s OK. It happens. You’re human.
Here’s a way to think about your vibrational contribution without beating yourself up each time you crash to Earth.
In business, there’s a financial statement known as a balance sheet. It’s purpose is to state a company’s assets and liabilities. If the company has more assets than liabilities, it’s solvent. If not, it’s in financial trouble and may go out of business.
The human collective has a vibrational balance sheet consisting of positive vibrations (assets) and negative vibrations (liabilities) that we are all putting out into the world all day every day.
To keep your personal vibrational balance sheet strong and contribute positively to the collective balance sheet, follow this simple rule of thumb.
For every negative you put out into the world, put at least two positives out there. This ensures a strong balance sheet that allows humanity to continue to thrive and evolve on this planet.
You are amazing, My friends. Thanks for stopping by. If today’s post inspired you, please share it with a friend.
Today I’m sharing a brand new recording of I AM affirmations. These affirmations are an assortment of affirmations with empowering words following I AM. The goal is to help you embody these words in your being.
Bookmark and listen to this recording for two to three weeks to allow the affirmations to infuse your consciousness.
You are every one of these affirmations already. Time to own them!
Thanks for watching and for your support!
I’m a little unorthodox when it comes to affirmations. I have found that a word like REFUSE has a lot of emotional energy in it An forms a fantastic affirmation. Here’s some examples.
Stay inspired, my friends!
You likely say the phrase I AM or it’s shortened version I’m 50-100 times a day. And if you count the times you think them, and that’s equally impactful, it’s several multiples of that number.
No two words are more powerful and there’s something else you should know. Subconsciously, every time you say them, you’re creating an equation where what you say next is equal to I AM.
This is why they are the most common and powerful opening to affirmations. What equations are you burning into you’re subconscious?
- I am a failure.
- I’m always late.
- I am bad at tests.
- I am a bad parent.
- I am never going to…
You get the idea. More than likely it’s a mix of positive and negative, but you often use the negative I AMs to systematically best yourself down. Stop it! Get conscious about it. Catch yourself doing that and correct it.
One great way to use your I AMs to maximum positive effect is to consciously turn them into affirmations. Drown out the negative I AMs with a tsunami of positive ones.
Make the power of that subconscious self-equation machine work FOR you.
Love you all and I’ll talk to you again tomorrow.
This weekend’s shootings are again a wake up call that we have a lot of work to do bring about the society we want. They’re a reminder that mindsets and beliefs do matter and when a person convinces themselves they have a right to harm others because of their mindsets, it crosses a line that we will not tolerate as a society.
Horrific events like this are not just about the shooters and the victims, though. They quickly become about all of us and the kind people we are and the kind of society we want to be.
Hatred and anger are as easy as falling off a log. Any person can get mad, get angry, and add to the destruction. It takes wisdom, courage, and enlightenment to vibe higher in circumstances like these. Some say it’s weak or pointless. They claim we must get angry and get even. I disagree. That’s what’s been driving humanity for the past 10,000 years. That’s the energy that has created this world and mindsets that allow someone to walk into place with other human beings and start shooting them. If we want change, we must be the ones – you and me – to say no more! We must be the ones to change the vibration in our lives, in our communities, online, and around the world.
Today’s affirmation is about encouraging you maintain a higher vibration in the face of these events. No words can bring back the dead or comfort those who lost loved ones. The best way to honor them is to create world where such actions are unthinkable.
It’s another opportunity to be the change you want to see in the world!

We are lucky. Our lives are broken into 30,000 new births rounded by sleep. We don’t have to wait for a new year or a big event to shift a paradigm, start over, or try again. Every single morning of our lives gives us that opportunity.
The venerable Buddhist monk, Thich Nhat Hanh, wrote the following in his classic book Peace is Every step.
“Waking up this morning, I smile. Twenty-four brand new hours are before me. I vow to live fully in each moment and to look at all beings with eyes of compassion.”
I’ve held this quote close for the 30 years since I first read it. We are each gifted “twenty-four brand new hours” every day. Whether you’re prince or pauper, tall or short, skinny or heavy, male or female, whatever your race or creed; we are all equal in this regard.
No one gets an advantage. It’s an opportunity and a responsibility. It begs the question, “What will you and I do with this amazing gift?”
Our answers become our lives. Don’t worry, though, if today isn’t the day you figure it all out. With a little luck, you’ll get another birth tomorrow morning to take another step on the journey.
Let’s be the people we came to the planet to be today.
