From Darkness Lead Me to Light Affirmation

It’s another Sunday evening, my friends. I hope you and yours are well and that you’re ready to make this good week.

Progress. We all have a desire to make some progress, but it can be hard to measure in our crazy world. To make progress and know you’ve made it, you need a starting place and goal.

Tonight’s affirmation is based on a 2700 year old mantra from the Brihadaranyaka Upanishad. It makes a beautiful and powerful affirmation. It’s also an affirmation about progress. Sometimes we take small steps toward small goal and that’s absolutely fine.

This affirmation is about making the highest kind of progress there is – from trapped and stuck and limited to free and game-changing and transformative.

Visualize the words as you meditate upon them. Let them mean what they mean to you on your journey right now. The meditation is set to relaxing Indian music and the visuals in the video all come from India. Enjoy the experience!

THE AFFIRMATION

From untruth lead me to truth. From darkness lead me to light. From death lead me to immortality.

Wherever you are on your journey this evening, may you find more truth, more light, and the immortality that is your true birthright.

Put your mind on your side.

Over time, I have melded these ideas into my own philosophy on self-development. I have written, recorded, and used affirmations and other tools throughout that time to improve my own life and I have a passion for helping other reach for their goals and dreams.
