Mothers’ Day Poem and Affirmations

Once a year we spend a day recognizing mothers for the invaluable contributions they make in all of our lives.

“To Mom on Mothers’ Day”

Out among the stars
that flow across the sky;
there surely must be one
that caught my mother’s eye.

If I could I’d capture it
and lace it with a bow;
give it to my mother
so that she would know.

Despite our disagreements
and our differences of way;
I love her and respect her
on this, my Mother’s Day.
