Dr. Wayne Dyer on Ellen – The Affirmation Spot for Wednesday August 12, 2009

One of my true mentors from afar, Dr. Wayne Dyer, discusses his new book “Excuses Be Gone!” with Ellen Degeneres. He always inspires me. I hope you find it inspiring too.

Stay inspired!

I am the Founder of The Affirmation Spot, author of Annuanki Awakening, and co-founder of 6 Sense Media. My latest books are the Anunnaki Awakening: Revelation (Book 1 of a trilogy) and The Power to Be You: 417 Daily Thoughts and Affirmations for Empowerment. I have written prolifically on the topics of personal development and human potential for many years. By day, I write sales training for Fortune 100 company. I began studying affirmations and positive thinking after a life-threatening illness at 25. My thirst for self-improvement led him to read the writings of Joseph Campbell, Wayne Dyer, Deepak Chopra, Neale Donald Walsch, and many other luminaries in the fields of mythology and motivation. Over time, I have melded these ideas into my own philosophy on self-development. I have written, recorded, and used affirmations and other tools throughout that time to improve my own life and I have a passion for helping other reach for their goals and dreams. Ray holds a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Secondary Education in Social Studies from University of Kansas. He lives in Spring Hill, Ks with his wife.

  1. I hadn’t seen this before, Ray, but interesting how he makes a comment (toward the end) of the need for businesses to shift in their thinking (from how can we get away with this to how can we be of real service?). Love how that message dovetails beautifully with my post on Creating Conscious Business!

Since you work in B2B Sales Training for a corporation, the question is…Is big business ready to hear this message?

    Many blessings,

PS Holding the vision of UR success well beyond 9-5 :o)

    1. Nancy,

The corporate structure is still unwilling. However, there are individuals (some fairly high up) who are ready to listen. I think so many people are starting to understand the ideas you layed out in your blog. They are just stuck by the gravity of the status quo. As you learned on #MaMO, I am looking to leave the corporate world. However, as long as I am still there I do all I can to plant seeds of that change.

      Peace to you, my friend.
